MARINE ENERGY PARK (MEP)
The Marine Energy Park (327 Hectares with Deep Water frontage) is being developed for the manufacturing, commissioning, installation and recycling of offshore wind turbines and also to produce renewable energy from biomass products.
It is also envisaged that in the future, as other sustainable energy production methods are developed - new “wave technology” as an example - the facility will be well placed to provide the infrastructure required to deliver these types of projects.
